Personal Essentials Pantry History
The CMC PE Pantry was founded September 21, 2009 due to a heavy request for personal care items. Food stamps may not be used to purchase these basic hygiene items, and the CMC found it necessary to provide this type of assistance. This pantry was developed in affiliation with the Zion Lutheran Church Pantry (now Atwood PEP). Zion’s PEPartnership assisted with start-up of the CMC PE Pantry and provides the database framework that the CMC PE pantry uses to serve guests.
