Job Training Social Enterprise
Culinary Creations Catering social enterprise was created by the CMC to offer food service job training for individuals facing barriers to employment, including limited English proficiency. Participants gain skills and employment history by working on a small team to prepare fresh, quality school lunches and other catered food orders. The goal is that through their time with the enterprise, trainees will have gained the skills, work history, and confidence needed to present themselves to an employer as a capable and qualified candidate.
Culinary Creations Catering offers:
- Paid, on-the-job training
- Hands-on work experience
- Food safety certification
- One academic year of training in small cohorts

Interested individuals can apply for admission into the paid training program at any time and will be contacted when openings are available. The application process involves a paper application, interview, and background check (previous convictions do not necessarily preclude admission).
